RIC STANG
I've always been a wood guy. I've been building things since I was a kid, became an apprentice to a cabinetmaker when I was 16 and have spent 50 years as a professional carpenter and fine woodworker.
The joy for me in turning is seeing the potential in a piece of wood and, with a lot of delicate care and shaping, creating a touchable object of beauty and function.

MARGARET KOVAL
Margaret Koval’s paintings are informed by a prior a career in broadcast journalism and documentary film. They frequently emphasize urban spaces and indeterminate narratives with ambiguity and instability as major themes. She enjoys finding beauty in slightly unsettling images and likes to make typical subjects of beauty slightly unsettling. Margaret studied painting at the Art Center in Pasadena, California and University of the Arts London before receiving her MFA from City & Guilds of London Art School.

RICHARD SPEEDY
Since leaving the commercial photography world, Richard has worked on numerous personal projects. For the last five years, he has been concentrating on photographing the US east coast from Maine to Key West. He will also be showing his new “Into the Glade” Sourlands work and “NEST” collections.

SCOTT GROSSMAN
Scott Grossman creates finely crafted wooden vessels, bowls, boxes, and functional objects from his studio in Hopewell, NJ. His work is built around clean lines, balanced forms, and a deep respect for the natural character of the wood. Each piece is hand-turned and hand-finished, allowing the subtle variations of grain, color, and texture to guide the final shape.

A dedicated member of the local artisan community, Scott brings a thoughtful, disciplined sensibility to his craft. His vessels and functional pieces are made to be used, appreciated, and passed down—objects that show the warmth of the maker’s hand and the beauty of well-crafted wood.

JAMES JANSMA
Jim Jansma’s vessels and wall panels draw their strength from nature—both in surface and in form.

Jansma earned his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and his MFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. He taught ceramics at Princeton University from 1992–2003 and is a four-time New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship recipient. He lives and works in Hopewell, NJ.
